Vox’s Glad You Asked, produced by Vox and Vox Media Studios for YouTube Originals, is an exploration of topics driven by our curiosity about the world around us. Joining season two is Fabiola Cineas, Vox’s lead race reporter, and Lee Adams, the host and producer of the VICE documentary series Minority Reports. Together, with season one hosts Cleo Abram, Joss Fong, and Christophe Haubursin, they examine questions around racial justice and the impact of systemic racism in our communities and daily lives. Using Vox’s signature explainer format, the team of producer-hosts explore topics ranging from implicit bias to how our neighborhoods determine our futures, race and A.I., inequity in our education systems, the impact of racism on our bodies, and meritocracy.

Before “Glad You Asked,” Cleo was a producer on Vox’s Netflix show, “Explained.” She was also the host and a senior producer on Vox’s first ever daily show, “Answered.” In her stories, Cleo decodes complex topics in technology, culture, and economics, revealing how underlying systems work to help people better understand and find wonder in the world around them. For fun, you can find Cleo on TikTok, where she answers questions from her 150k followers, or on YouTube, where she makes a personal vlog series called “Hey Kid” for her future kid(s?). She was born in Washington DC, and received her BA from Columbia University.
LEE ADAMS
Born and raised in Virginia, Lee Adams is a Brooklyn based documentary filmmaker and journalist. He is currently a Host and Producer on Vox’s “Glad You Asked” YouTube Originals series, along with the VICE documentary series “Minority Reports.” In addition, he is also the creator and host of “Let Lee Explain,” a bi-weekly digital explainer series averaging 250K views an episode on both YouTube and IGTV. His work behind the camera includes, producing and directing the Emmy-nominated VICELAND series “Weediquette,” the award winning sports docu-series “Red Cards,” along with films at the Tribeca and Venice International Film Festivals.
FABIOLA CINEAS
Fabiola Cineas is a staff writer at Vox.com where she covers race, politics & policy, and culture and is a host of Vox’s Emmy-nominated YouTube Original series “Glad You Asked.” Cineas was previously a senior editor at Philadelphia magazine, where she led the publication’s coverage of the city’s innovation scene. She regularly interviewed CEOs through her monthly live event series Secrets From the C-Suite. Before covering the local economy, she covered education in Philadelphia and in her hometown of New York City. And before launching her career in journalism, she taught seventh-graders in Camden, New Jersey through Teach for America. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Dickinson College.
JOSS FONG
Joss Fong is a senior video producer and one of the founding members of the video team at Vox.com. She’s been making Vox videos and helping to shape Vox’s approach to video journalism since June 2014. She has a master’s degree in science journalism from NYU and won a AAAS Kavli Science Journalism award for an episode she produced about gene editing for Vox’s Netflix show “Explained.” in addition to hosting and producing “Glad You Asked,” she’s worked on “Vox Observatory,” “Shift Change,” and “False Positive,” a 3-part documentary about flawed forensic science. She’s originally from Arizona and now resides in New York City.
